Nutrition is getting more and more important on multiple levels. People have to be well-nourished but certainly not overweight and countries together with cooperations tend to supply way too much food in order to present an abundance. The majority population has become totally dependent on large supermarkets for food. And as the last epidemy has shown us most people do not have a week's reserve in food.

And now the new buzzword sustainability — how to respond to all the above-mentioned challenges in a sustainable manner.

In order to make it simple, I’ve device 7 levels of sustainability in nutrition from the simplest level at number 1 to the advanced level at number 7.

I defined each level with questions we posed to ourselves or dilemmas we are solving on that level. I’ve defined benefits and comment on them from well-known facts or historic points of view.

I. Quantity

Questions

  • How much can I eat in one meal or during one day?
  • How big should my portions be?
